The NWTC was recognized as the oldest chapter of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of American, Inc. that is still an active chapter.  Pictured l to r are Janice Crawford, Mei Chun Lee, Coleen Shinn, Vice-Chairperson and Lubbock Support Group Leader, Lajuana Miller, Chairperson and Abilene Support Group Leader, and Maureen Kenney, National Chapter Relations Manager.  In the background is Debora Boelz, Chief Executive Officer, on the left and National Board Member, Tina Vassar, Liaison Officer, on the right. 

Mei Chun Lee is a chapter member whose 11 year-old-daughter has been diagnosed with MG.  She and I have had extensive phone calls this past year and she attended the annual meeting to learn more about MG and find answers for what is best for her daughter.
